Our coaching pairs: Henar Rebollo & Jean Christian Mattei
A pair of facilitators that works, what is that based on? A common goal, that of leading you towards success. For this, we rely on our respective strengths. Henar and Jean-Christian explain to you in 5 points what works for them.

Presentation of the pair : Jean-Christian and HEnar
Jean-Christian : We both rely on this method from Strengths by Gallup. This approach based on positive psychology is a real “game-changer” and highlights the intrinsic strengths on which people must capitalize, rather than their weaknesses to be corrected. I don’t remember meeting Hénar without his smile. She has a contagious enthusiasm which is perceptible in the preparations as well as in her presence during the activities.
Henar : As systemic, Co-Active and Strengths coaches, we are passionate about personal and team development. Seeing growth in others energizes us and makes us happy. Also the trust and respect we have for each other helps us to work with a very pleasant and powerful flow.
It’s also fun to work with Jean-Christian because we practice coaching in Spanish and that gives us a very funny side of Mediterranean humor!
Tell us about your talents and the talents of your Relationship
Henar’s TOP-5 Gallup : Empathy – Context – Connection – Responsibility – Activator
Jean-Christian’s TOP-5 Gallup : Responsibility – Maximizer – Learner – Relator – Achiever
Jean-Christian : I greatly appreciate the relationship with Henar. We share a common strength of Responsibility — #4 for her and #1 for me. Once we have committed to doing something: we will keep our promise. And it gives me real peace of mind to be able to rely on her. She has a strength that I don’t have and on which I also rely a lot: Activator — #5. It’s great to have this complementarity!
Henar : I completely agree with that and I think it’s the basis of the trust with which we work. And without lacking humor and positivity, I like working with Jean-Christian because I know that his Maximizer side — #5 — is always present. This ensures that the quality of what we do is always excellent.
Another great strength as a team and for our clients is our ability to build strong, authentic relationships. Our complementary strengths Relational — #4 for him and Empathy #1 for me — allow us to quickly get in touch with the teams, read their feelings and needs and detect areas of improvement to make the team stronger. This is essential for teams to feel safe and share ideas. From there, growth is possible.
What do you like about working with teams and what do you think you can bring to them?
Jean-Christian : What I like to feel in the interventions that I do are the moments when I feel that lights come on in the eyes of the participants. A door that has just opened and which gives new perspectives.
Henar : Indeed, when a person or a team becomes aware of their truth, it is a magical and completely transformative moment. As coaches, it is a privilege to be able to experience it every day.
Thanks to the processes we put in place, clients or teams learn to discover themselves, accept themselves and improve. This gives them more clarity. Suddenly things are clear to them and they move forward.
We are here to support and encourage them in their approach. Ensuring they achieve the goals we previously set for ourselves.
Tell us about one of your interventions with a team
- The type of team and the problem
- The format
- What you brought them / what they left with
Following this testimony, we put into perspective one of her strengths that she had precisely neglected, which had led her to this error with the unpleasant consequences she suffered. The workshops that followed largely contributed to psychological safety which led the participants to open up about their own mistakes they had made.
The success of your seminars is 80% of you, and 20% of us!
The complementarity of our BIRDS facilitators and the commitment of your teams is the key to supporting change.
